Increment Of VAT Isn't The Solution To Nigeria's Economy Says Baba Alao
The Supreme Head, His Most Eminence Solomon Adegboyega Alao speaking as a student of Econometry (Financial Calculus); in his goodwill message at the just concluded end of the year quarterly vigil tagged- Night Restoration, says the increment of VAT from 5% to 7.5% won't help the country and that the president and his cabinet should look into it critically and have a rethink. He explained that the increment in the VAT will capsize most companies which will lead to unemployment and social disorder in the country. The number one seraph said the solution is for the government to bring back companies that had left the country such as Dunlop, Michelin etc. So as to create more jobs and reduce unemployment in the country
The clergyman appreciated everyone present at the event and for the great turn out of members at the Seraphim Day Anniversary held on the 14th of September 2019. He showed his sincere gratitude to the sponsors and people who had been supporting the event spiritually, financially and morally. Moreso, he urged the congregation to always pray for them in their various homes. He gave kudos to all Baba Aladuras for enduring his foolishness and shortcomings. He asserted that he would always do his best at all times. He also encouraged everyone to continually pray for the politicians, most especially our president.
Concluding his message, the supreme head admonished all seraphs to be of good conduct in the society and keep off from all kind of criminal act.
