C&S Unification Youth Flags Off Centenary Youth Summit, to Hold in Badagry

The Youth Fellowship, Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria has unveiled the lineup of events for its annual convention, which this year marks the church’s 100th anniversary. The convention, tagged the Centenary National Youth Summit, is scheduled to hold from Thursday, August 7 to Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church in Badagry, Lagos State.

This announcement was made during a press briefing held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the C&S Unification Lagos State Chapter, Secretariat, Surulere, Lagos. Themed “Hallelujah” drawn from Psalm 135, the theme emphasizes praise and thanksgiving in celebration of a century of God’s faithfulness. The Lagos State Chapter of the Youth Fellowship will host the convention.

The National President, Brother Gbenga Quadri, described the centenary as a spiritual milestone and “a time to reflect on God’s enduring faithfulness and recommit to His mandate.” He noted that the celebration would serve as a convergence of the church’s rich legacy, spiritual renewal, leadership transition, and youth empowerment across the globe. He also commended the host chapter for their commitment and preparation, assuring youth nationwide and in the diaspora that the 2025 edition would be “very special,” urging every chapter to participate fully.

Hosting the summit for the third time, the Chairman of the Lagos State Youth Fellowship, Bro. Moses Ajose, described the opportunity as a privilege and promised a well-organized, impactful experience for participants.

The Chairman of the Planning Committee, Bro. Noah Oluwasegun Victor, stated that the summit is designed to spark a spiritual awakening among youths and to create opportunities for growth in all areas of life. “We believe that our youth are the leaders of tomorrow, and it is our responsibility to equip them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and support to succeed in every aspect of life,” he said.

Also speaking at the briefing, the National Secretary, Bro. Ayodeji Ojo, emphasized that this year’s summit will not be a routine gathering but a loaded celebration featuring a variety of activities including lectures, Bible teachings, breakout sessions for entrepreneurs and tech enthusiasts, and leadership training. Outstanding and vast men and women of valor such as Apostle Seyi Akinlade, Pastor Segun Adewunmi, Pro. Abiodun Oladosu, Apostle Olusegun Odufuwa, and others.

Adding a unique experience to the summit is a guided tour of historical sites in Badagry such as, Slave Trade Museum, The Point of No Return, The First Storey Building in Nigeria, The Bible Translation Site. Registration is currently ongoing via the Fellowship’s official online platform. Participants are encouraged to register early to secure their entry into the summit camp. The media team has been tasked with supporting delegates through the registration process.

The National Security Director, Bro. Ifeoluwa Donatus, assured all stakeholders of comprehensive security throughout the summit. In collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, measures have been established to ensure the safety of lives and property. “This is not a jamboree,” he emphasized. “It is a spiritual gathering fortified with full security presence from arrival to departure.” The conference concluded with heartfelt prayers and praise, charging every stakeholder, state chapter, and youth to take ownership of the centenary summit. “This is our time,” echoed the National President, “and by God’s grace, we will celebrate it in joy and purpose.”
