Pastor Gideon Oyedepo speaking to students at the Exploring Educational Excellence Seminar on Moses Orimolade University where he enlightened students with two great scriptures.
2nd Timothy 1: 9
Who has saved us and called us with holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.
Romans 8:28
And we know all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his Purpose.
He opened their eyes to the revelation in the scriptures and exhorted them that "you don't have any reason not to be great."
He gave the three P's for positive impact:
* Purpose : According to the scripture 2 Tim 1:9, he explained that there is a purpose attached to every great impact and if you don't have a purpose you can't make an impact.
* Problem: You are born to solve problems. Our generation have alot of problem to be solved. If you don't have a problem to solve there is nothing special about you.
* Promise: According Romans 8:28, your life is promising in God's purpose. Purpose beget Promise.
Finally, he encouraged the students to be positive in all endeavours and that there is a great future ahead of them.
