ENGAGING THE COVENANT OF GOD IN THE C&S CHURCH - Pastor Alo Olatokunboh

There are so many mysteries that have been sealed and veiled about this church, but they were meant to be unveiled for all to see, enjoy and partake in. This mystery still being sealed and veiled has led many into ignorance, oblivion and unwarranted spiritual bankruptcy, financial penury/poverty and moral lack.

But both in the scriptures and the hymn book of this Church, there are pointers to the fact that these things (financial lack and spiritual bankruptcy), that many are undergoing are not meant to be so. I have therefore been saddled with the responsibility by the Holy Spirit and the spirit of our father, St Moses Orimolade Tunolase, particularly to open the eyes of and enlighten the cherubim and seraphim in this world to the fact that we are not meant to cuddle or romance poverty, lack or penury.

The C&S Hymn Book 827 stanza 5 says

Remember the Covenant

Father of the Heavenly Palace

That the children of Tunolase

Will not in penury be!

Provider do hear our cry ) 2x

That we suffer not in this world ) 2x

The words of this song is a clear indicator that a bonafide seraph or cherub in this world is not meant to lack or want.

By the way of history, Moses Orimolade Tunolase operated this covenant to the fullest, he was a man of no mere means, he had enough money to carry out every assignment he had, he had governmental influence, and he had territorial authority (all of these were embedded in the covenant that God made with him). And he laid down this covenant for every of his bonafide sons/daughters to enjoy, but many have been ignorant of this thats why they've been living in poor conditions, but the new generation of C&S coming up must break off from this cycle because it is evil and it’s debarring the relevance and influence that the church is supposed to be wielding in the affairs of this nation and the global stage.

The first stanza of that song says

Moses Orimolade

Is our Great Teacher

To earth God has sent him

To establish this Band

Cherubim Seraphim he named ) 2x

This holy band of ours ) 2x

This first stanza shows that the founder didn't come on his own volition to this world, he was sent by God and God doesn’t call or send without a backing or covenant to prove His authority and efficacy.

If Jesus didn’t come into the world in vain (John 3: 16), if truly He became poor that everyone that comes into His kingdom might become rich in Him (2nd Corinthians 8: 9) and if truly all spiritual blessings have been made available in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1: 3) and it is this same Jesus Christ that sent St Moses Orimolade Tunolase to establish this Commission (C&S) in the world, then poverty is not part of the agenda of God for this commission, anyone and everyone that is living under the influence of lack, want and poverty need to be liberated from it and sentenced to a life of prosperity, abundance and plenty, this is not about the variation of the name you call your own sect of the church.

This can only come to pass or be realized if and when people break free and breakaway from poverty mentality and the cycle of negative covenants, which many have entered into unknowingly (thinking that serving ‘Christ’ indeed or been spiritual means been poor). When Jesus talked about being poor, He only talked about being poor in the spirit, which means expressing or confessing your inability before God, which will make Him to release His power into you the more (Matthew 5: 3).

Therefore, the eyes of understanding of many people in this church still need to be enlightened in and by the Word of God. This will make them to know that the seraphim in heaven are not poor, having their dwelling above the Throne of God (Isaiah 6: 2) and the cherubim too, who are full of eyes (Revelation 4: 6), which means spiritual intelligence, which means You cannot be a Seraph and be poor. In other words, if you identify your seraphic and/or cherubic nature, you’ll not join others to say C&S is a local church (Ijo Ibile) or it is a yoruba tribe church, but rather it’s a global church and if that is so, you will realize that you cannot go to a global level with a local and poverty mentality. We must all therefore wake up from slumbering in poverty and arise into living in prosperity and abundance.

We must learn to give willingly to the kingdom business, sow seeds without been forced or compelled, offer financial sacrifices for kingdom expansion and renew, rekindle and revive the covenant of God over the church that bonafide sons/daughters of Tunolase will not live in poverty.

Many that have not personally entered into a covenant relationship with Jesus also need to do that, it is of a utmost necessity, this will make the word of God to find a place to deeply settle in their lives and then together we all embrace the general covenant of God through Christ (the New Covenant). And then we enjoy the specific covenant of God with our father, St. Moses Orimolade Tunolase that the sons/daughters of Tunolase will not cuddle or embrace lack, poverty or want.

I will like everyone to pray these prayers:

Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I break off and breakaway from every cycle of poverty.

Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I break every hold of poverty on my life, generation and this church.

Oh Lord, let the fire of revival begin to burn in this church again.

These articles and prayers have been birthed from the revelation of God to me, and it is part of the assignment that Baba Orimolade gave to me in my encounter with him, when he told me that C&S is not a Local Church but a Global Church, so the fact that the church started from a local level and setting doesn’t mean it should remain so.

God bless everyone that gets to read this article and may the prosperity and wealth that’s available in Christ Jesus be our portion in Jesus name.
