YKDAVIDS, ISRAEL CLASSIC, FERE JESU AND OTHERS TO MINISTER AT THE SERAPH YOUTH MEGA PRAISE 2.0.

The maiden edition of the mega praise mini-concert was exceedingly beyond the expectation of the audience. It was an awesome experience in God’s presence but also a moment for the selected few to contend with others to know the best. The event whose purpose is to evaluate the C&S  upcoming artiste and make them global champions. 
The programme started early as slated, thirty-six (36) of the selected artistes registered at the venue to showcase themselves after which six finalists emerged as winners and will feature at the Seraph Youth Mega Praise 2.0. At the event were notable stakeholders of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria such as Supt Apos. Niyi Owomoyela, the Chairman National Executive Council; Special Apostle Akin Owolabi, the Chaplain of the Chapel of Restoration; Snr. Apostle Tayo Ajose, the evangelical team secretary and also doubles as the chairman of artiste and stage of Mega Praise Committee 2.0. Our global philanthropist and the sponsor of the programme came around to grace the event.

The event whose major objective is to foster unity amidst the church has brought together all arms of the youth ministry together in oneness as the National Youth Fellowship, Campus Fellowship and Corpers Fellowship leaders were all presents and the major brains that geared this great event.
The panel of judges led by Dr. Oluwole Adetiran, the Music Director of the Celestial Music Ministry who also doubles as a Dean at the Polytechnic of Ibadan with other two gospel producers. To prelude the commencement of the artiste’s performance, the panel of judges gave them guidelines and instructions to guide the event. Each contestant was given seven (7) minutes each to showcase themselves.

All the contestants came up to showcase themselves and performed their best to the panel of judges and audience. The panel shortlisted 11 contestants who were outstanding with their presentation, they also competed amongst themselves for three (3) minutes each. The contest became so tough as the 11 contestants put in their best to emerge as the winner, but with an unsparing effort of the panel of judges who were experts in the music profession, they picked their outstanding six out of the 11 contestants. After all, said and done, these are the outstanding six stated below from the sixth to the first position:
Shina Harmony – 6th 
Kehinde Aina (Kay Baba) – 5th 
Bukola Badru – 4th 
Adekale Babatunde (Fere Jesu) – 2nd 
Isreal Classic -2nd 
Yk Davids – 1st 

There was a tie between the second position, At the release of the final results the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as the panel of judges announced the winners. 
In a brief interview with some of the winners, YKDavids said: “I am really overwhelmed and happy because this goes beyond my imagination. He stated, “Never say never” with commitment and diligence dreams come true." FERE JESU the instrumental artiste said, "Our purpose was just to minister Christ to souls but God fulfilled his purpose in our lives. He also said people should be expectant to see God in Mega Praise 2.0."
Alongside the event was a great exhortation with Pastor Moses Labade where he shared three things that makes our praises to God acceptable. He said purity, obedience and salvation are the key things to God accepting our praises. He emphasized so much on salvation that your praise can’t be accurate if you are not saved. Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi also outpoured God’s declaration to the congregation. The event ended with grace in fellowship by Special Apostle Akin Owolabi.
