August 8 - GIFTS AND TALENTS 2
Bible Text: 1 Peter 4:10
God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.
Core Verse: Romans 1:11
For I long to visit you so I can bring you some spiritual gift that will help you grow strong in the Lord.
Excerpt from the previous message: It is possible that a person might never know what their natural talents are if their environment is repressive.*
In the New Testament are we commanded to try to find out what our ‘gift’ is. The interest of the New Testament is not what gift we have, but how we are using our God-given talents, abilities and gifts for the well-being of Christ’s body, the church.

[10]God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.
Our gifts and talents are to be used with diligence, cheerfulness and faithfulness.
