August 10 - GIFTS AND TALENTS 4
Bible Text: 1 Corinthians 12:11
It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have.

A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.

One of the differences between a spiritual gift and a talent is that spiritual gifts are received while natural talents are inherited. This means that a person inherits a talent from their mother or father, therefore having a genetic component.
Spiritual gifts, on the other hand, are received by a person once they have received salvation. It is given from the hands of the Holy Spirit according to the will of the Father.

Everything I do with my gifts henceforth shall bring glory to God. Amen.
