The Eternal C& S set to begin 90th remembrance program for Orimolade September

…The six-week program features Revivals, Crusades, Lecture, Fund Raising, Mega Praise, Book Launch

The Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim will from September 6 to October 18, 2023 hold different programs to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the end of earthly journey of the Founder of the church, St Moses Orimolade Tunolase.

The foremost Prophet from Africa joined the Saint Triumphantly on October 18, 1933 at Ojokoro, Lagos State.

A statement signed by the Chairman of the Media and Publicity Sub Committee of the anniversary, Snr Supt Apostle M. O. Adeyemistated that the six-week program with the theme: “Sure Foundation… Good Inheritance. Ipile To’daju…Ogun Rere. (1 Chor 3:10 & Psalm 16:6) will commence with Revivals and Crusades in Lagos, Abeokuta and Ibadan.

The first revival will hold on Wednesday September 6 at St Moses Orimolade Cathedral, Egbe, Lagos by 5pm while a rally and Open Air Crusade/Vigil will hold in Abeokuta, OgunState on Friday September 15 starting from 10pm. Five days after the Abeokuta crusade, a revival will also hold on Wednesday September 20 at Ebute Metta by 5pm. The Revival/Vigil at Ibadan, which will hold at the AdamasingbaStadium, is slated for Friday September 22 starting from 10pm, while Shillo Service will hold at Ojokoro on Wednesday October 11 at 8am.

The celebration will also feature Mega Praise where seasoned gospel artistes will join our Central Choir in leading us a spirit-filled praise and worship. It will hold on Monday October 2 at the Main Auditorium of the University ofLagos (UNILAG), Akoka starting by 9am.

The chairman of the Planning Committee, SnrSupt Apostle Niyi Afolabi and the Secretary, Snr Supt Apostle Yemi Senbanjo said the date was specifically chosen for the Mega Praise because of the public holiday, which will allow everybody to be present at the epoch event.​

On Saturday October 7, there will be Fund Raising and Book Launch at Stadplus Event Centre, Alausa, Lagos by 11 am.​

Symposium/Seminar where the authentic story of the life and times of Baba Orimolade will be dissected by prominent religious scholars and leaders of The Eternal will hold on Saturday October 14 at Orimolade Cathedral Egbe at 11am. There will also be a documentary about Baba Orimolade and the public perception about the C & S.

As usual the grand finale of the six-week long program will hold between Wednesday/Thursday 18th& 19th October at Ojokoro from 6pm till dawn.

The Chairman of the Planning Committee said vest with the imprint of Orimolade picture, wrist band and other souvenirs have been produced for all members and flex of different sizes announcing all activities is already available for all churches. According to Ap. Adeyemi “We expect all churches that belong to Baba Orimolade to have this flex in front of their churches. This will not only help to announce the program to the general public at the local level but will help increase awareness among all members.”

The Secretary of the Planning Committee also called on all members of The Eternal to donate generously for the success of the program.
