Seraph Israel Adekunle Adeniyi Emerges Nigerian Law School, Best Graduating Student

Offa-born legal scholar and Seraph, Israel Adekunle Adeniyi, has added another remarkable milestone to his exceptional academic journey after being called to the Nigerian Bar and emerging as the Best Overall Male Student at the Nigerian Law School.

Seraph Adeniyi, a native of Ile Eso Pataki Compound, Offa, Kwara State, was raised in the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, No. 6, Oke Iye, Offa, where he remains a devoted worshipper.

His academic excellence has been consistent throughout his educational journey. He first emerged as the Best Graduating Student of Offa Grammar School before proceeding to the University of Ilorin, where he distinguished himself again as the Best Graduating Student in the Faculty of Law. He reportedly graduated with the highest CGPA recorded by a law graduate at the institution during his time.

Despite suffering a personal tragedy with the loss of his father in May 2026, Adeniyi remained steadfast in pursuing his professional aspirations. While many would have found such grief overwhelming, he persevered through the rigorous demands of the Nigerian Law School, demonstrating remarkable resilience and determination.

His efforts culminated in his emergence as the Best Overall Male Student at the Nigerian Law School, a feat that has earned him widespread commendation from members of the legal profession, education stakeholders, and the Offa community. Many have described his achievements as a source of pride to Kwara State and Nigeria at large.

Meanwhile, Punch Newspapers had earlier reported that the Abubakar Bukola Saraki Foundation honoured Adeniyi with a ₦2 million cash prize during a special dinner hosted by the Foundation's founder in recognition of his outstanding academic performance.

On Friday, Adeniyi was formally called to the Nigerian Bar at the Body of Benchers Complex, Abuja, marking the beginning of his legal career and adding another inspiring chapter to the story of a resilient Seraph youth whose journey continues to inspire man.
