ISOKAN AT 40: C&S CAMPUS FELLOWSHIP CELEBRATES  ITS 40TH ANNIVERSARY

Cherubim and Seraphim Church Unification Campus Fellowship have commenced activities in preparation for the grand celebration of its 40th anniversary, slated for 27th April through 3rd May 2020, at the convention ground, Wasimi, Osun state. This year's convention is tagged - OUR ADVOCATE, with the theme - THE WAY AND THE TRUTH.

The lineup event which started with a media parley and investiture of grand ambassadors held at the C&S MOVEMENT CHURCH, Surulere District, led by The Apostolate/Chairman, Central Executive Council, C&S Campus Fellowship, Pastor Joseph Aregbesola Aringbangba, and the 40th International Convention & Anniversary Chairman, Pastor Segun Adewunmi.

The Apostolate shared a brief history on how the fellowship started, which was an idea conceived by the elders of the church at a conference held in Kaduna state and how it evolved from the University of Ife,(NOW OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY) in March 1980.  At present, the church has eighty-eight (88) campus fellowships in Nigeria and the Republic of Benin.
The main goal of the Church among others is to propagate the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ as laid down by the Holy Spirit through Saint Moses Orimolade Tunolase as well as to develop, train and educate our youths in higher institutions with the view of making them Christ-like and responsible youths of Cherubim and Seraphim Church and patriotic citizens of this country.

The CEC Chairman spoke on different capacities of how God has helped the church through the past years to date. He said the church in all ramifications has been a model for success and had produced graduate members who are exceptional in their respective places of assignments.

The 40th anniversary is also geared towards celebrating the grand ambassador of the fellowship. "These ambassadors who are representatives of our cause and kind represent the true values, principles, culture of the kingdom of God which the Unification stands for." Therefore, they stand for the character and purpose of the King/Father of this Church (Unification), Jesus Christ. "Today" would kick start the decoration of the forerunners; The Apostolates of the Fellowship as GRAND AMBASSADORS of the C&S Campus Fellowship in persons of Special Apostle Oluseyi Coker; Special Apostle Kehinde Sowemimo;  Evangelist Duro Soetan; and Evangelist Olajide Emmanuel Atansuyi.

The INVESTITURE proper was led by 40th International Convention & Anniversary Chairman, Pastor Segun Adewunmi. In his words, he said, "This is a strategic, intentional and deliberate move and as such, the committee decided to hold the investiture at the church due to the magnanimous impact of the church on the Cherubim and Seraphim Church Unification Campus Fellowship."

Furthermore, he stated that the investiture has placed a responsibility on them in assisting the committee to harness and mobilize all the resources needed to facilitate a successful celebration.

More importantly, he implored both members and graduate members of the campus fellowship to do all within their capacity to contribute to the success of the event.

Nonetheless, he encouraged everyone to come with their expectations as God is set to do greater things at this year's convention, with a biblical assurance from Ephesians 3:20, "Unto Him, that can do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us."
