Ekunola Davies Announces Date For 2022 Genesis Crusade

The 22nd edition of the annual Genesis Crusade powered by the Ekunola Davies Ministry Intl will take place on January 14, 2022, at the Rehoboth Prayer Mountain, Araromi Oteyi Busstop, Papa - Ilaro, Ewekoro Local Government, Ogun State. 

The convener, Prophetic Evangelist Ekunola Davies, announced this while speaking at the media parley and tour on Monday, January 3, 2021, at the Prayer mountain.

The Ekunola Davies Ministry Intl is the first indigenous ministry of the Celestial Church of Christ which is focused on revival, teachings, and deliverance. 

It is a church support ministry that started in Oshodi, Lagos State in the year 2001 before relocating to their prayer mountain in Ilaro, Ogun state.

The media parley started with an opening prayer by the vice president of the ministry, Lady Evangelist Olayinka Ekunola Davies, followed by a welcome address by the vice-chairman of the organizing committee Bro Gbenga Alabetutu. 

The vice-chairman appreciated the men of the press and gave kudos to the visionary leadership of the ministry. He stated that the Genesis Annual Crusade started over two decades and has impacted so many lives ever since. It has successfully brought many souls to Christ with bountiful testimonies being recorded by the ministry too.

The secretary of the organizing committee, Evangelist Gbenga Akinlalu also spoke on the committee's preparedness for the crusade. He gave the assurance that all plans have been perfected especially in the aspects of logistics, Security, and protocol. He further noted that the Transport support arrangement has provided free buses for people coming from Lagos and Ogun state. Buses are also provided to churches to convey members to the crusade ground. 

The minister-in-charge, Prophetic Evangelist Ekunola Davies disclosed that the Genesis Annual Crusade is the first assignment given to the ministry.

He added that this year’s edition being the 22nd is a special edition because there was a leading by God for a committee to be set up.

“We have never instituted a committee for the crusade since inception”, he noted.

He further explained that the theme of this year's crusade is "Abraham obeyed my voice".

“As we all know the name Abraham was an institution when it comes to anything relating to faith. One of the challenges of our generation is that we are adamant and disobedient to the voice of God. Abraham sacrifice what he loved most and never regretted even in the grave. This year we are preaching the message of obedience to the voice of the Lord”, he added.

Genesis annual crusade is basically for the word of the Lord, revival, spiritual songs, deliverance, and prayer. 

It is the first crusade of the Celestial Church of Christ in January and a pathfinder to all other crusades in the church.

Speaking on the state of the country and the world, the evangelist said “all we need is to keep praying for peace as the Bible says. We all know what we need now is peace, prosperity won't be achieved in an atmosphere where there is no peace”.

The venue for the event is the Rehoboth Prayer Mountain, it is another Christian community to look out for. it is a 10 acre of land with diverse features and special facilities such as clinics, Bible College( Word Vision Bible College, Multipurpose hall, mini-conference, different auditorium, mercy land, etc. On the mountain is a snail farming project to enhance the growth of the community.
