C & S Ambassadors begins 5th anniversary with free healthcare
Many people around Ikotun/Ijegun axis of Lagos State on Monday benefitted from the free healthcare services by a London-based C & S Ambassadors Foundation.
C & S Ambassadors is one of the C & S initiatives known for its philanthropic gestures all over the world, especially in Nigeria where the group has constantly put smiles on the faces of not only Seraphs but poor and vulnerable in the society.
The free healthcare included checking of the vital signs, sugar and blood pressure, consultation with doctors for diagnosis and free drugs for the patients.
The programme was held at the premises of The Eternal Sacred Order of The C & S, Irawo Owuro, Ikotun, Lagos.
Those who attended the free healthcare programme were also counseled on how to live healthy life style and diets that improve immunity.
The leader of the group, Brother Mojoyinoluwa Alli said the free healthcare service is part of the 5th anniversary programme of the C & S Ambassadors Foundation and described it as part of their effort to give back to the society and improve on the image of the church.
He said there is a lot of things people do not know about C & S but the more various initiatives try to impact the society, the better for us, adding that things are getting better and promised that C & S Ambassadors Foundation will continue to play its role in shaping the image of the church.
One of the beneficiaries and leaders of the church, Supt General Apostle Israel Samuel-Abagun thanked C & S Ambassadors for the free healthcare, which he described as “very impressive.”
Elder Samuel-Abagun, who is the Chairman of the Lagos West Territorial Conference of The Eternal Sacred Order of The Cherubim & Seraphim said that time has come when the church must educate her members on how to take good care of their health and live a healthy life style. He commended C & S Ambassadors for their efforts and quality of medical personnel and drugs dispensed free of charge for everybody that attended the programme.
Speaking in the same vein, Snr Apostolic Mother Rebecca Adetoye, who expressed joy for being a beneficiary of the free healthcare, pray God to continue to bless members of the Foundation and urged the beneficiaries to use their drugs and abide by advice given to them.
The Chief PRO, C & S Unification Church of Nigeria, Apostle Muyiwa Adeyemi thanked the group for coming from London to offer free healthcare to the people in the rural community, noting that what they are doing is another form of evangelism that will bring many not only to C & S but to Christendom.
He said: “I am also a beneficiary of the free healthcare and I can attest to the quality of the treatment. I am also happy to see many non C & S Christians and Moslems benefitting from the scheme, which is very good.
“This is the kind of initiatives we need in the church. We hope other kind hearted Seraphs will impact society with this kind of service to improve quality of lives. Let’s get more good news about the church and I can tell you that C & S Ambassador is a good news.”
The grand finale of the anniversary will hold on Thursday with a Talkshow and Praise Party Concert.
