Mother Ajayi relives Transfiguration at Mount Tabor

Mother Ajayi relives Transfiguration at Mount Tabor

By Apostle Muyiwa Adeyemi (Chief PRO, C&S Unification Church of Nigeria)

The spiritual experience and promises from the throne of the Most High,  that would turn to testimonies, made the 2019 pilgrimage to Israel embarked upon by the members of the white garment churches unique and rewarding.

The renowned International Evangelist and Founder Love of Christ Generation Church C & S, London, Reverend Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi and her husband Rev. Dr Ademuyiwa Ajayi had sponsored over 180 members of the Cherubim & Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria and Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) from Nigeria, Ghana and Serria Leone to Jerusalem to spiritually and physically explore the birth place of Jesus Christ and pray for the success of Celebrate the Comforter holding at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos on Saturday July 20, 2019.

The journey from Lagos to Instabul, Turkey capital was smooth, so also the connecting flight from that European country to the Holy land of Israel. The beautiful and adoring Ben Curion International Airport, Tel Aviv, perhaps had never seen gathering of such a large number of people wearing white garments, sparkling and radiating like angels. Indeed, it was a beauty to behold!

All eyes gazed on these religious faithful and many foreigners  were taking turns to take pictures with them. “I love this, which religious group is this, I had never seen such gathering like this?”, a Brazilian said at the Arrival Lounge of the Ben Curion Airport, Tel Aviv.

While the travelers from different nations were still discussing among themselves”, Mama Adua as Rev. Mother Esther Ajayi Abimbola is being fondly called led the pilgrims in the songs that almost turned the Arrival Lounge into a crusade ground. As she led the praises from the spirit, heavy sounds of clapping and dancing rented the air. The airport turned to a soul-winning arena and many that did not understand both Yoruba and English languages could not resist the power of Holy Spirit. They joined in the high praises and became partaker of the anointing that flowed freely from the Prophetess of God.

The three prayer points she led at the airport set the tone for the one-week spiritual exercise and excursion at the Holy Land. She specifically asked people to pray that as they were sponsored to the Israel, God should also bless them and gave them the power to sponsor many Christians on pilgrimage.

The prayer point was her own testimony. She disclosed that about nine years ago a woman who she had been prayed for in London had challenge  with her daughter who always went astray and disappeared into the thin air. The “Easter of our time” prayed for her and the young lady did not only returned home but turned a new leaf. To the glory of God, the erstwhile run-away girl has become a medical doctor.

The grateful and appreciative mother asked Mother Ajayi what she wanted, she promptly asked her for assistance to travel to Israel which was immediately granted. She recalled that her first prayer in the Holy Land was to be a source of blessing to many and sponsor them on pilgrimage. For her, it is the wish of all Christians to visit the Holy Land once in his or her life time. God answered her prayer and a year after she started and by now the Management of Tabar Tours, Israel said Mother Ajayi had sponsored over 2,000 pilgrims to the Holy Land.

The pilgrims went straight to Nazareth. On the second day of the pilgrimage was a journey to the Mount of Transfiguration at Deborah village where the spiritual image of Jesus was revealed to Peter, John and James.

The place is called Mount Tabor in the lower Galilee of North Israel rises with its distinctive shape from flat and fertile Jezreel valley, about 15km west of the Sea of Galilee. It was on this Mountain that Jesus was transfigured and “his face shining as the sun, and his garments became white as the light”.

It was right from the beginning of the journey that praises and worship had started in Bus one that conveyed some of the pilgrims out of the 4 buses. The spirit-filled environment sent many in trance and Iya Adua delivered the message. She said, “As God liveth, I saw 41 days written clearly on the windscreen of this bus and God told me that within 41 days after the pilgrimage, unbelievable miracles that would transform the lives of people would manifest”, the thunderous Amen that claimed the prophesy was earth-shaking. She said it three times after which, she asked other visioners in the luxurious bus to go on spiritual realm with her to verify the message.

The snaky and uneven road to the Mount of Transfiguration did not surprise the pilgrimages that had been filled with the Holy Spirit. Simeon, our Guard had admonished that absolute silence had been mandated at the Mountain until we got to the designated centre for prayers. But Holy Spirit did not respect laws and doctrines of man.

As Mama Adura led the pilgrimage to enter the gate, about 80 meters to the church built on the spot of the Transfiguration, spiritual-laden songs and clapping began. Heaven literally opened and the host of heaven descended like legions. The “black-garment” Reverend Fathers from the Catholic church in charge of the Holy place were awed and bowed to the Holy spirit at work. Other pilgrims from different countries and nations joined. It was a revival like never before. The spiritual significance of that Mountain came alive, once again. While some partook in the spiritual impartation of the Holy Spirit, others turned paparazzi by taking pictures and video shots of the men and women in spirit. “This is awesome and made my trip to Holy Land this year unique”, a pilgrim from Madagascar said.

While they were taking photographs and introducing themselves to the Prophetess of God, they were surprised to hear from Mother Ajayi that the Prime Minister of that country had extended invitation to her. She showed them the messages and said “what a coincidence? God wanted to do something in Madagascar and I believe” . They exchanged telephone numbers and they instantly became admirers of white garment church and forbearers pending the time she would go to that country to ignite it with the fire of Holy Spirit.

Praying at the spot where Jesus glow like sun and his apparel became as white as snow to the consternation of his disciples that asked that three temples be built on the spot, one for him, Elijah and Moses was a life-time experience. Enjoying the panoramic view of the ancient towns from that vantage position of over 700 meters above sea level would forever remain evergreen in the memory of the pilgrims. The flora and fauna around Mount Tabor is amazing.

But the revival that followed at a place designated for spiritual rejuvenation confirmed the spiritual significance of the Mount of Transfiguration. Not up to five minutes that the revival songs rented the air that three people went into trance (Elemi meta sokale). Many pilgrimages could not continue with their schedule but stayed while the service lasted. God confirmed the success of the Celebration of Comforter and promised to  visit all partakers with unprecedented miracles that will turn around many lives. God promised a complete rejuvenation of white garment churches and peace for the mankind especially in Nigeria.

The prayers at the Tabgha Capernaum also near the sea of Galilee where Jesus fed over 5,000 with five loaves and two fishes was a prayer of multiplication, success and breakthrough. On the top of the rock where Jesus performed the miracle, Iya Adua knelt down to pray for abundance of wealth and prosperity  for all members of white garment churches. To her, God is the creator of all things who can do exceedingly above what we asked for. She said her joy was to see many Christians tap into the abundance of God and use the resources to promote Christianity.

To her, prayers for success and breakthrough can easily be answered if Christians follow the principle of multiplication as defined in the Scripture which mandated faithfulness in payment of tithes, offering and cheerful given.

She demonstrated this by asking all the pilgrims to pay tithes from the Basic Traveling Allowance (BTA) she gave to each and everyone of them. She did not only personally collected the tithe, which she also paid, but saw to its distribution of the tithe to all the Ministers in charge among the pilgrims.

Also at Sea of Galilee where Peter walked on the water but could not complete the journey because of shaking faith, Iya Adua prayed to God to strengthen our faith. It was also on that sea that storm threatened to abruptly end the lives of disciples while Jesus was sleeping. Jesus calmed the storm and from that day sea of Galilee remains peaceful, pilgrims prayed for end of storm on all white garment churches. A boat ride on the sea with songs of praises and a taste of St Peter’s fish completed food for the spirit, soul and body.

Many pilgrims would not forget in a hurry the morning devotions that began by 5am and how Genesis, an unusual Prophet from the CCC electrified and shook the roof of our hotel in Nazareth and Pastor Dele Omiyale from C& S church Accra, Ghana refreshened the pilgrims at their Jerusalem Gate Hotel with take-away praises and prayer points that shook the foundation of the hotel to foundation and connected many to the path of greatness.

Interestingly, the Supreme Head, C & S Unification church of Nigeria, His Eminence, Dr Prophet Solomon Adegboyega Alao joined the pilgrims at the Upper Room in Jerusalem where the disciples waited until they experienced baptism of Holy spirit. It was not a coincident as many were spiritually blessed with his presence. His prayers were effectual and relieved the experience of the Pentecost day.

Baba and Mama Ajayi used their family as an example of an ideal family that loves God and believe in the powers of prayer. They came for the morning devotion, on most occasions, before 5am and thought many why lateness to prayer meetings was not a virtue.
