Developing Spiritual Mentality - Olalemi Adedoyin

By the world mentality, we mean a basis of thinking, a way, an approach. There are diverse mentalities but can be categorized into two... spiritual which is our focus here and earthly or what you call sensual.
There is an engineering perspective or approach or mentality, likewise, there is a medical approach or mentality to things.
When a carpenter looks at a tree, he sees logs for furniture. When an herbal practitioner sees the same tree, he sees leaves and the bark of trees for concoction. A doctor sees issues medically...from the medical perspective, same for the Engineer.

 Now one of the reasons why they are able to see from their respective windows/perspective is because they have given themselves to training, tutelage... showing commitment to have the name Dr. or Engr. Behind their names. Some are sometimes driven by the passion to make a change or add value because they have come to see the importance of their professions and how profitable it is to humanity. The act of development is embarked on to gain mastery of the realm in question, that is to be established...to be established is to be empowered.
Now concerning the topic of discussion "Developing Spiritual Mentality" no development can be embarked on or achieved without first seeing (See) the profits of that particular enterprise and secondly committing (Commitment).
If you cannot see the values of being spiritual in this world or having a spiritual mentality, you cannot commit to it. When the values are seen... when the profits are realized then we can pay the necessary price to commit to having a spiritual mentality.
We would streamline the word spiritual to the kingdom of God, that is the kingdom of light. Being occultic or the act of witchcraft is also spiritual for your information.

Big Question
If I must commit to developing a mentality that is spiritual, what are the profits or values of the Spiritual realm? If I must develop my mentality

1. The "Back end Concept"
Relating to the IT world, most times when there is a problem which can't be solved easily with a computer in a network or if there is going to be a modification, upgrade of an App or server, it is done efficiently from the "back end"...the master computer. The truth be told, Yahoo, Gmail, outlook mail, Facebook Instagram, etc, irrespective of their privacy settings and policy, has direct access to all your secret files and password if they choose to, all the former has a master control on their respective Apps and can do a general change from the "back end". Many times, hackers hack the servers of many organizations to the individual computers. Most times, the main servers are rooted in the "back end" computers. What am I trying to communicate is that the spiritual realm is the "back end" of life or the material realm. 
Any man or anything that can hack it or tamper with the settings will successfully tamper with the material realm. The day you realize that the Spiritual realm is the realm of change, you will Start to be spiritual.
Make a conscious effort to developing a robust spiritual mentality that will help you navigate the course of this world with sufficient access/from the back end.
Anything that is successfully done from the "back end" will reflect in the material realm...it will take the connection to the same realm to change it. 
Is your back end corrupt with viruses of failure, barrenness, joblessness, etc.? I recommend the antivirus called JESUS Christ. It runs well on the windows Holy Spirit operating system (please do not joke with these things, they are real. I try to explain with contemporary things, to make us understand it).

It is because of the Understanding of this background that Jesus said, all things are possible to them that believe... Why He knows He Himself is the IT Manager... When you call on him... All He needs to do is to go to the "back end" and make adjustments. To summarize, the above concept explains the seeing dimension, that is, to First develop a spiritual mentality you must first see it, understand its possibilities, then commit to it. Our understanding of the possibilities of the spiritual realm enhances our tendencies to commit to it.

2. Commitment
Talking about commitment, we mean a commitment to the values, principles, revealed secrets, personal instructions, and revelation of truth to the realm of God... Which is the realm of Faith- the realm we should be spiritually mental of. By commitment, we mean a continuous personal effort by the quickening of the Holy Ghost to stand. Eph6:13 "Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand" By commitment we mean what you give yourself to continuously or permit to use the word Consistency. Proverbs 13:20 "He who walks with the wise will become wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed"
Give yourself to Spiritual things of the kingdom consistently & you will develop mentality in that area of commitment.
A daily walk & work in servicing your Altar and keeping the fire continuously burning.Lev6:12. You would observe the use of the word continuous, in other words, in developing a spiritual mentality, continuity/consistency is involved. Continuity is like the gathering of rain cloud. As the sun shines, rain clouds are gathered. As we continue in what we have been taught, in His presence in prayers, praise, or meditation we grow and become established in our mentality or convictions.
The things to continue in can be relative based on each ones calling and assignment, however, there is a common ground or basic areas of continuity that forestalls developing a spiritual mentality. The basics will be highlighted shortly.

3. The Key of Association
Proverbs 13:20 He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed
We have talked a little about this previously.  Saul moved with the company of Prophets and he prophesied. 1 Samuel 10:11(NIV) "When all those who had formerly known him saw him prophesying with the prophets, they asked each other, "What is this that has happened to the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the Prophets"

This third point explains itself very clearly. I would share one more scripture then we close this point.
Acts14:13(NIV) "When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus"
In conclusion, watch your association, it can ruin you, kill you, limit you, or promote.
An association may appear harmless physically, but when you discern it, it is a heavy burden upon your destiny that should not be attempted to be carried. Some have the appearance of godliness but deny the power thereof. Be discerning!
Seek the companion of those who has a healthy and Pure Spiritual mentality and join yourself to their chariot and not those who will complicate your life or make you regret you ever joined them. Before you know it, you will be manifesting great wisdom in the realms of the kingdom.

4. Those that Sell
Matthew 25:9 (NIV) ''No,' they replied, 'there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves." The Healthy and Pure Spiritual mentality that we talked about previously is abundantly available however, it is for sale. Isaiah 55:1 "Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and cost." It is for sale yet without money, it is for sale yet, without physical coin. God has invested heavily in choice men here on Earth who carry what you seek...these are Mentors...the ministry of Elders that God has put in place to guide you into all truth via the help of the Holy Spirit. Friends your labour will be reduced and errors limited with the ministry of Elders if you buy from them.

You don't pay money to receive from them, but I tell you there is a price to pay to draw from these Elders... I mean God sent Mentors. They have walked the path you seek before, they have fallen before, they have a higher ranking amongst the immortals so they are qualified to guide you in developing a healthy and Pure Spiritual mentality.

Now, I don't refer to Elders or mentors that will introduce you to Ogboni confraternity or WitchCraft mixed-up with the name of Jesus! Of course, the ministry of the Holy Spirit is firstly available... But you will need an Eli to tell your Samuel that the voice you are hearing is of God, not man.

A Big Question for Discussion...WHAT PRICE DO I HAVE TO PAY TO DRAW? 
Basics & Conclusion

- Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness
If you do not make this your priority, you will definitely fall into error in your pursuit of developing a spiritual mentality. No matter your supposed good works or activity. Be careful.

- Barean mode
Acts 17:11 "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so"
Be studious as a believer, do research, probe in the spirit wisely, and intelligently the things you hear and see.

- Be prayerful
You will not go far without this key. You may likely be cut short and fall into errors and diverse temptations.

- Holy Spirit my friend & Partner
In developing a healthy and Pure and robust spiritual mentality devoid of carnality... You MUST know the person of the Holy Spirit and enter into koinonia with him and partnership.
John15:15 " no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you"
